SVHeeft Hij de vijandschap in Zijn vlees te niet gemaakt, [namelijk] de wet der geboden in inzettingen [bestaande]; opdat Hij die twee in Zichzelven tot een nieuwen mens zou scheppen, vrede makende;

ASVhaving abolished in the flesh the enmity, [even] the law of commandments [contained] in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, [so] making peace;
